I can't believe I'm having to have this conversation. It has a great story, great pacing, great acting, some great dialogue, Tom Wilkinson is awesome, and Tilda Swinton does a marvelous job being totally believable when she is forced to make some tough decisions to save her career and company. If you haven’t seen this film then go see this film right now (its okay, go ahead, I’ll wait . . . .).

Speaking of the director Gilroy, I wasn’t as big of fan of Duplicity as the reviewer here but it was a good film with some great moments and Paul Giamatti brings it as always. State of Play is another fabulous film that needs to be seen by everyone. I can’t completely comment on the recommendation to see the original British series instead as I haven’t watched the whole thing though I can say the British version is lacking a certain quality, ah how do I put this, oh yes it doesn’t have the most beautiful actress of our generation, Rachel McAdams in it.

I like the Bourne films, well for action movies anyway. Sure unlike dramas they are only good for a few showings but they are entertaining stories and I always find it enjoyable to follow the CIA side of things and their techs and language as they hunt out the title characters. I extend this to The Bourne Legancy which in many ways I thought was the best of all in terms of dialogue. Renner doesn’t quite have the presence of Damon but he does okay. Legacy was obviously setting itself up for additional films in the franchise and I’m game for that. OSRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07452441453039376916noreply@blogger.com
